to all those reading this post, this will not be one about cowboys or pioneers, though they might come up shortly, this is about our baby growing gradually taller, heavier as well as older. here's some photo's of Ben's first birthday and how he's changed in just this little amount of time. and I just now realized I never posted about his first birthday last year! oh I'm a bad mom! so for their world debut here they are! big brother couldn't understand why the camera wasn't pointed at him so he improvised and "snuck" his way into a shot:) and now here's shots from this year's birthday bash! now that we live so close to our family and we're not in the middle of a move we were able to throw a real birthday party for Ben and this was what we got!he was so excited to get these water guns! he knew just how to use them. when he pulled them out of the bag the first thing he did was make a "bang, bang" noise. though it sounded more like"pshoo, pshoo"and of course when grandpa wants to give you a hug what do you do??? you shoot him! This James tank engine was something that he'd been waiting for, for a long, long time. Here's the final shots of the day taken 15 min. after we got home. I got my nap after everyone else woke up
I love the pics!!! my favorites are Ben wearing his cake rather than eating it, and the one with him holding his train engine... you can tell he is going to love that toy!! And it was nice to see you in one some of the pics.... I miss you guys living right down the road....*tear*...it was such a nice place to be.
What a cute little boy! I love the one of the three boys all in a row. Very cute. That could very well be THE BIGGEST birthday party I've ever seen. What a good mom you are to throw such a great party!
