everyone was sick let's just say that much. First my loving hubby gives it to the kids who then share it with eachother and give eachother something new then just as everyone else is just gitting over what they have, I the loving and giving mother comes down with the horrible monster thing. the strangest thing was that ben got an eye infection. I don't know how but i'm guessing it was from wiping his boogers from his nose upwards, possibly quite close to his eye. eWWe! how gross is that! but lucky me i dealt with all my stuff in 1 night so after that i was just left feeling drained for the rest of the week. nothing really's going on here, nate's never home cuz he doesn't have enuf people working for him, but he called today and said that he found 2 people to take the empty slots so YEAH!! i can have my hubby back.
Ben's still not talking it's kinda starting to worry me though I've heard 2nd kids take longer to talk, I thought that if i didn't baby talk and Joey didn't interperet than he'd have to say something sooner or later, but not so. maybe i just didn't understand baby bable well enuf with Joe that he HAD to learn english, where as with ben when he brings me a cup or takes me to the fridge I know he wants something in there. He's quite intellegent, really, he understands hand and vocal directions like pickup the movies, or take the diaper to the garbage, it's just he doesn't say anything. well he does say ball, diggy(doggy or kitty)(or daddy!), daddy. he knows who we all are and will usually point to us. he knows how to moo like a cow or bark like a dog if shown pictures, but he just can't say, yo! how you doing?! He know's how to throw a ball at joe so they can play baseball in the house, he know's how to do celebration dances, when he throws a strike, clap and cheer when he just throws the ball, he's even learning how to ride and drive on the power wheel Gaggie got joe his 1st real Christmas. I mean this kid is growing UP! but he can't talk! i know i'm harboring on the not-so-good stuff while he can do all this aMaZiNg stuff, but I can't wait for the day when he can say momma, or i love you! hmmmm that's making me teary, more nostalgic but you know that good kind of sad.
Can you believe we've almost been here 5 months, the end of oct. it will be 5 o-fish-ally. in that time we really haven't changed, well at least for nate and I, though we've both probly gotten at least a little more round. though the boys have both gotten lighter hair.
Here are the boys at a corn maze that we went to for our cousin/neice's birthday. while ben was stuck in the stroller, Joey ran WiLd! They had a slide there that was a solid peice of pipe that was probably 30 ft. in the air!
here he's bouncing after hitting the bottom, LOOK at that AIR! and the other is of our uncle and joe after racing to the bottom of another slide, Joey won but uncle andy was close behind! We got pumpkins at the pumpkin patch there and joey insisted on painting his pumpkin till the day when we can carve them for that special night! we haven't done anything with ben's pumpkin but i think our home looks more "autumn-y" being not carved, let me know what you think.

There's my wreath isn't it pretty! and here's a close up of joe's paint job, i told him we'd carve it just like he had painted it. And if you look really close you can see the nostrils in pen :)
that's all for now so leave good comments and read a good book

Your boys are getting so big! Don't worry about Ben not talking...he will come around. My mom told me that my brother Ryan (who is just younger than me) took forever to talk because I always spoke for him.

Hey Christina, Thanks for stopping by. Don't worry about the non-verbal second child. Sarah didn't say more than "gunk" for nearly two & 1/2 years. Love the wreath on your door. Stop by some time.
